This is a decent set of paddles for beginners. They are a bit thicker than a lot of others to help with control but the paddle surface is perfectly smooth which does not help when trying to apply some spin on a return. Also, the grip is a little shorter than I prefer but it was a nice bonus that the set included two roles of tape so you can rewrap if you don’t like the feel of the original. The bag that is included works great and has plenty of room to store both paddles and included accessories, along with additional space for a notebook or cellphone if desired. All in all, this is a great starter set!
